Commissioned Wedding Card

I was asked to make a card a little but last minute for a wedding. Went for nuetral colours for this one.

Comissioned Bookatrix wedding Card

Long time no post! Life kinda got in the way a bit lol.
Will be uploading quite a few as got some catching up to do.
This was a commissioned Wedding Bookatrix Card and the customer requested a photo of the happy couple on it. The colour theme was red so incorporated that.

Commissioned Shoe Card

A friend ordered a shoe card for her adult daugther birthday and I found digi stamp (but can't remember where) and printed it onto patterened paper. The backing paper is from Hot off the Press

I used X Cut nesting dies for the matting and few little blue pearls.

I made the ribbon and the pearl accent was from Hobbycraft (bridal section)

The sentiment is from a freebie Hot off the Press set.

She absolutely loved it!

Commissioned Wedding Card

I received a commission for a wedding card for a couple that are very "green" so nothing too elegant and fancy.

Made a 6 x 6 card and used Tim Holtz Distress Inks on Hammaered white card for the background.

I made the flowers using pages from a old book and used Tim Holtz distress ink on them, going darker at the edges. Curled back the edges of the flowers and secured with a split pin. Added small glue drops to look like dew.Stuck an leaf behind them that I have had for ages.

Cut out a couple of flourishes using the Epic Six and accented them with cream, sticky pearls.

Don't know why Blogger keeps rotating my pictures! Anyway, created the sentiments in MCS Pro software using downloadable fonts and used XCut die to cut it out and then layered it up. Distressed the sentiment using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Commissioned Mothers Day card

A very loyal cutsomer placed an order for quite a few cards, incluing a mothers day card.

Made an easel card using MCS floriography disc.
Decoupaged the image and then glittered the edges using PVA glue and a toothpick!

Printed the sentiment and cut using XCut dies and then glittered the words and the edge (toothpicks are great!).

Glittered up the butterfly too!
Layered up the Easle rest and used ribbon and bow to pretty it up and some sticky pearls in the corners.

Commissioned Card - Sew Pretty

Another commissioned card. The brief was for a sewing card so used an image from Pink Petticoat.

The buttons, pins and tape measure are from my sewing box (hardly ever touched as I am useless at needlework!).

I used glossy accents on the image and used Tim Holtz distressing tool and a blue ink pad once it had fully dried. Hand drew the stitching around the edge.

Pins stuck in use silicon glue and added a little extra on the edges to make sure they don't some out. Have cleaned it off a bit to make it look a little more presentable!

Threaded some chiffon ribbon through one button and all buttons stuck on with silicon glue.

Commissioned New Home

Another commissioned card. This time for a New Home so have used an MCS image.

Kept it all fairly simply and used plain card for the backing. The cream card is slightly reflective.

Layered two ribbons and made a ribbon to go on.

Ooops! not sure why it's the wrong way round! Used some pearl drops in black to highlight parts of the chair.

18th birthday card

Another commissioned card and the brief was "mad scientist"

Image was found on the internet by the customer and I layered onto textured paper then card.

The backing paper is part of a set I have had for ages.

Stamped 18 on a circle and then used xcut nesting die to mat it.

Buttons made using textured paper and glossy accents.

Commissioned Police Card

Received an order for a police card and the image was supplied by the customer.

Chose "simpsons-y" backing papers for the images and had matching blue card for the matting and layering.
Lettering was cut out using XCut alphabet dies in the matching blue card.
Buttons created using the matching blue card and glossy accents and used a ribbon in blue too.

Toshiro Hitsygaya

Who?!?

Another commissioned card (for the friend who's daughter specifically requested the cards she wanted me to make for her birthday).

I had no idea who this character was until I was shown an image of him and had never heard of him. Spent ages looking for the perfect image and got it cleared by her dad before I used it.

Anyway, for anyone wondering, he is a character from an anime cartoon called Bleach and is her favourite character.

The backing is blue mirror board embossed using the polka dot embossing folder.

I used lots of glitter on the image to make it pop a bit.

I cut the flourishes using my Epic Six and cut them in blue glitter card and stuck on little gems.

Made the bows and used feathers from an old fascinator.

White Wolf

Had two card orders from a colleague for his daughter. Well, actually his daughter ordered them through him!
The first (to be from her brother) had to feature a wolf or wolves. I found a beautiful black and white image and decided to go for a black and white theme.

The image is mounted on white glitter card and plain black card. For the background I used a white gloss card and embossed it and used black and white satin ribbons down the centre.

I finally got round the using the large black gems I got for my birthday and stuck one in eacg left hand corner.

I cut up a string of pearls into different lengths and used black and white ribbon to create bows

I made a box rather than an envelope and decorated it with two strips of light sliver card, cut with martha stewart punch (forgot to take a picture though!).
