Forever Friends Red Black and Gold

Still playing with my new stash and have made this Forever Friends Red Black and Gold card.
I love how it has come out. I think it looks really elegant and can be for most occasions.
I have used glossy accents on the heart and the buttons.

I also decorated the inserts by stamping a leaf design randomly (masking off the writing area)
And I even decorated the envelope!

Woody and Buzz

Another Toy Story card featuring Woody and Buzz (made for personal use). Backing paper is a wallpaper sample and have used glitter card and mirror board for the matting and layering.
I punched out some small circles with scraps of mirror board and used Glossy Accents on it. I have also used glossy accent on Buzz's helmet and buttons to give more texture.

Stamped out the sentiment and used some Angel Hair (ironed to make it go hard) as the backing for it.

Forever Friends Red and Silver

Been playing with my new Forever Friends stamps and made this little A6 card.
The image is from the Black and Gold collection, coloured with Promarkers and the cupcakes have been glittered. I also added a small gem to the middle of the bow. I mounted on Red mirror board and used a Nestie peel off in silver (bargain from wilkos!). Used my Martha Stewart punch on some mirror board in the background and used some small gems as embelishments.

It hurt to make it

I was asked to make a birthday card for a friends nephew and he wanted a Southampton FC card. Man did it hurt to accept that order, being a Pompey girl. Will need to charge double for the distress - lol.

Really pleased how it came out though.

Image is from Bugaboo and I coloured it with promarkers after checking what the saints kits looked like.

Added some badges to the corners covered with glossy accents

Used a peel off on the insert and stamped footballs along the top and bottom.

Birthday stash

As promised, here are pics of my birthday stash x
Some fab glitter glue
Forever Friends Black and Gold stamps
Little circle punch
Gem wheel

Lots of gems

Little Brat!

Another Kraftin Kimmie card. I love this little image, she looks like she would be a right little brat!

The backing paper has been in my stash forever and she is coloured with promarkers. Have done a tonal effect at the top of the skirt part. I have used my Martha Stewart Doily lace punch on a bit of card on the side.

You can see the tonal effect a bit better in the close up x

Belated happy birthday to me!

I celebrated my birthday on Wednesday and had a wonderful evening to my OH and two very good friends.

The meal wasn't up to much but we got offered complimentary desserts (which we all declined) and, with drinks, only ended up costing £30. But the company was great and that is the most important thing.

Got a good craft haul too! Dad has sent me a cheque to buy my Quickutz machine, OH has said I can buy a few bits I am after (box envelope maker and some punches) and my Mum is also going to give me some money.

BF got me loads of crafting bits (Anitas gem wheel, some flower gems, some FF stickers and a HobbyCraft voucher). I went out yesterday and got two sets of FF stamps and some HC glitter glue in different colours.

Got lots of lovely cards too. OH got my a gorgeous Deco card (he knows I love them) which lights up and twinkles. Got some lovely comments in the card from work (and some not so lovely!) and have even more to come!

Will upload some piccies of my new stash soon as well as some card I have made with it x

Sail Away Little Pirate

Love this little card, I think the image is so cute. I can't remember where it came from (I am rubbish at keeping things organised sometimes!).
Image has been coloured using promarkers and the backing was part of my stash. Decided to use up some of my non square / rectangle cards and I think it kinda suits the image.

One more Friggen candle

A card made to order. The customer chose the image himself from the website as he needed a card for his sister and wanted one for "a grumpy b***h"!

Immediately went to Bugaboo as their "Stella" stamps seemed to be just the thing and he chose this one.

The backing is a freebie from a scrapbooking site. Image coloured with Promarkers.

Fairy Tilda

I made a very pretty little fairy Tilda card. I used a pearlescent card blank and punched the edge. I then punches some lilac card down both edges and stuck that over the top.
I coloured her in with Promarkers and glittered the wings. I used a dark purple card to make a circle to mount her on and pulled the wings forward a little. I used plastic flowers in purple and irredescent and stuck on on the other using silicone glue and then stuck them round the circle. I stamped the sentiment and used extra flowers to finish it off.

House Mouse Let Celebrate

Made this using a decoupage House Mouse sheet. Loved the blues and pinks in the image so carried them through to the card. The card is blue with pink card layered on top with a blue ribbon and some pearls coloured pink using my acetate pens.

Sorry!

Have been a bit bad about updating lately! My head has been all over the place for the last month and have been suffering a lot with my PCOS. Had a trip to the docs and I am waiting on some test results to come back.

Anyway, to cheer myself up I brought some now Promarkers, a Memento Ink Pad (NEVER going back to the cheap ink pads now!) and a gorgeous punch from Martha Stewart. I got the Doily Lace one and it is so pretty. Have been having a play with it (spent pretty much all day in my craft room yesterday) and it is fab although a little but hard to actually punch through but it is not leaving any ragged edges that the cheaper one do.

Also treated myself to some card from the Paper Mill. 7 boxes of card for £35 and most boxes were literally overflowing. Got a great mixture or colours and textures and have been playing with that too.

I also went through an sorted out my old craft bits and gave a huge bag of stuff to OH's grandkids. I cut up some of the card into A5 pieces and into some strips. I then used my new punch on some of it. I also gave them loads of toppers, stickers, peel offs, card blanks etc. They were over the moon!
