Another Baby Boy

Everybody's having baby boys! This is the third card in the last week I have made to welcome in a little.

I have used the gorgeous Bambino digi from Sugar Nellie again (and I thought I wouldn't get much use out of it!). Coloured with Promarkers of course. The backing sheet was from a selection of Christmas papers but I think it works well.

I made the frame from textured paper, used holographic embossing powder and then glossy accent over the top.

Chic Birthday card

A card made for a friends birthday. Topped is from stash, flowers were a blog candy win and the backing is from Hobby Craft.

Play Up Pompey!!!

Another ordered card for fathers day. This time for a Pompey FC card.

I downloaded the crest and used Glossy Accents on it (brought my first bottle at the weekend and LOVE it, want to use it on everything!)

The backing paper has been in my stash for ages and I used some peel offs for the sentiment. I was going to add more but actually like the simplicity of this (and so does the girl who ordered it).

Leaving card

One of our engineers is leaving us this Friday so time again to get in the craft room. Wanted to go for something that matches the job and as he is a computer engineer I thought this free colouring page was perfect.

The backing paper was a freebie download and the image is coloured with promarkers. I tried to match his top to our company top colour but it didn't come out quite right.

Fishing Fathers day card

Another fathers day card made to order. My colleague ordered the card on the Wednesday for his partners dad. He went home and his partner asked where the card was. He explained that it is a handmade card. His partner looked at him blankly. He had to explain that I needed to actually make it. I know I am quick, but not that quick!

They are really pleased with it though.

Papermania stamp (these are really popular with those that order from me). Used a funky check backing which is from papermania and coloured with promarkers.

Kept the background of the image quite plain this time and I did matting and layering with some cheap card stock from Hobbycraft (yep, sometimes "cheap" and "hobbycraft" can be used in the same sentence without adding "not").

Deliberately coloured the sign slightly sketchy to try and give it rustic effect.

Another baby boy card

I was asked to make another baby boy card so was incredibly glad I invested in the Bambino stamp from Sugar Nellie.

Image coloured with Promarkers and I glittered the bobbles. I had a decorated apperture card that I cut out to frame the image.

The backing paper is from a set I brought from Hobbycraft. The bow was one that was in my stash.

Twin Baby card

One of the directors has just had twins (well his wife did anyway) and, as always, I made the communal card. I love making them for work for all the different occasions and it gives me more excuses to make cards.

I wanted to make something really nice rather than cutesy. I have used the gorgeous Bambino digi stamp from Sugar Nellie and flipped it so both babies were facing opposite directions.

Coloured with promarkers (as always). The backing was a freebie from somewhere and the edges were on a some card my auntie gave me.

I used peel offs around the image and for the wording and some blue ribbon and mirror board and sticky gems.

Fathers day cards

Two fathers day card using the same image from papermania.

Both coloured with promarkers and watercolours pencils in the background.

Gothic Girl

Made this for a colleagues birthday.

I painted some lining paper for the backing papers mixing some paint tester pots with poster paints and silver acrylic.

The image is from Tiddly Inks and I think she is gorgeous!

Coloured with promarkers and watercolour pencils.

I painted the roses black and stuck them on with silicone.

Teddy Bo

Little cutie this guy! Made with my niece in mind but not sure yet!
Lots of yellow used on this one! two different backing papers (one was a free download, the other a gift from my auntie). I used my blog candy scissors to cut around the edges and a pretty yellow ribbon.

Image coloured with promarkers x

3 Wedding acceptance cards

Have another wedding to attend in July for my cousin and made these acceptance cards for my and OH, my mum and my brother and sister in law.
Backing paper is from a new set from hobby craft and the wording is printed out using a free font. Stuck on a couple of sticky pearls to make it a little prettier.
Cream card with ivory ribbon and mounted a cream heart on a gold heart. The swirly gold vellum was brought from hobby craft ages ago and I think this is the first time I have used it!
Used gold mirror board and layered on black glitter card. Gold ribbon for the bow and edged two cream hearts with gold glitter. Wording printed out using a free font.

Birthday beer

A quick card made for a birthday. The image is from another card and I used gold mirror board and some free wallpaper samples! Cut the edges using the scissor from my blog candy win.

It's all about the shoes!

Yet another kraftin kimmie image! Love this little Cinderella image.
Made this into an easel card using acetate for the standy uppy bit and used flourish peel offs to decorate it. Coloured using promarkers.

Kenny K card

Another masculine card. Have used a burlesque style Kenny K image, coloured with promarkers.

Girly birthday card in pink

Stamped image from Pergamano and coloured with promarkers.

I blended Dusky Rose with Lilac and Lavender to get a two tone effect on her outfit. Quite pleased with the results, especially for my first attempt at it!

Backing papers were part of my stash and I also used glitter card. The pink silk flowers were from Hobby craft and the purple peonies were won in Redrotties blog candy. The ribbon was from the pound shop!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Crafter Companion -  Challenge 12 Girls Birthday (http://ccmonthlychallenge.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-12girls-birthday.html)

Little Angel

I created this little angel card with my niece in mind (it is her 7th birthday soon) but it has been snapped up!
Image is coloured with pro-markers and I glittered up the wings, wand and halo.

Backing paper was part of a pack and the flowers were part of the blog candy I won from Redrottie.

Hannahbelle's birthday card

Wifey just celebrated her 30th birthday and I wanted to make her a really special card.
I used the Gorgeous Marie Antoinette stamp from Kraftin Kimmie and coloured with promarkers. The backing paper is from Laura Ahsley, as is the ribbon. The paper flowers came from hobbycraft and the pearls were recycled from a fairy wand.

I made a box for the card and used Laura Ashley papers to cover it along with some glitter ribbon from hobbycraft.

Beware of the Zombie...

Another commissioned card for a lads birthday. The order was for a Zombie card for a brothers 11th birthday.

The Zombie image has been coloured using Promarkers. For the skin I used Lime green, Ivory and Cool Grey 1 and 2 to try and give a decayed look. I used buttercup and cool grey 1 in the eyes and Ivory and buttercup on the bone.

I used my new scissors won from Redrotties blog candy to give a dimension to the matting and  layering and then adapted the Happy Birthday verse.
