Want a card party?

Would you like an excuse to get the girls round? Then host a card party.

Free card (of their choice) for the hostess.

A good selection of cards will be available on the night to take away and people will have the opportunity to order personalised cards.

To book your party, drop me an email to cardsbychelle@yahoo.co.uk.

Storing Promarkers

Haven't had them long but decided it was a pain digging around a box for the right colour.

Took some strips of wood and painted them in silver acrylic paint and then got some thick card and cut for the sides and front and painted that too. Used my trusty hot glue gun to tick it all together and Voila! Easy Promarker storage. Although this won't last long as want loads more but will do for now.

Mini shop!

Popper out to the shops today with the BF and got a couple of bargains!

Got a pack of blue mirror board and blue glitter board (stash is rather girly so needed some boy things!). Packs were £1 each from Mr Cheap.

Also got some glue roller pens (£2.00 for 2) and they are the C&C ones so got 2 packs.

Also picked up some white A4 card, but you know what that looks like so no pic.

Looking forward to playing with the new stash.

Tiggerific Easel Card - AVAILABLE £2.50

Coloured a picture of Tigger with a cake and balloons using promarkers.

Used lots of orange and yellow (2 colours I don't often use) and added ribbons and buttons.

Printed the sentiment in Word.

Love this card and think it will suit people of all ages.

Verity Standing Gatefold - AVAILABLE £3.00

A very pretty image from Sugar Nellies of Verity standing. Coloured with Promarkers and stuck on textured card. The card is a gatefold card and has been matted and layered with silver mirror card and textured black card. The corners have been heat embossed in silver with a small design. I also distressed the edges of the card she is on slightly.
The sentiment inside is fairly generic to allow it to be used for different occasions / people. I have added a close up picture of the little girl so you can see how pretty she is.

Lilac Girl - AVAILABLE £1.50

Cute image of a little with flowers. Backing with Lilac Mulberry paper and a lilac ribbon with gem dots. No sentiment so can be used for any occasion.

Tigger with Presents - AVAILABLE £1.50

A cute tigger image coloured with Promarkers. A6 size.

Gorjuss Girl Easel - AVAILABLE £2.00

I adore the Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellies.

I decided to make this one just a little gothic but not massively so.

I made it into a small easel card with lots of burgundy and purple.

Sliekje Mouse and Cake Easel card - AVAILABLE £2.00

Came across http://sliekje.blogspot.com/#googtrans/nl/enwho does the most fabulous, cute digi stamps (you click on the name to take you to the site.

This was also my first try with promarkers. I have used chocolate and cream card and very cute brown dotty ribbon from HC. The sentiment was part of a set of rub offs from Letraset which I free!

Debbi Moore Venetian Masquarade - AVAILABLE £3.50

I really love the Debbi Moore CD's, the images are so beautiful.

I created this card using a decoupage image of one of the woman and used Kanban striped card as her backing.

This is an A4 card and comes boxed (in one of the boxes that the FF decoupage sheet packs come in).
If you would like to buy this card, please email me using the button on the left.

FF mothers day card made to order

A friend of mine order a mothers day and wanted a forever friend image from the FF disc. However, this wouldn't print very nicely for some reason so I brought some of the FF elements from HC and some very pretty mulberry paper roses in pink.

I used a flowery patterned backing and matted and layered with glitter board and pink mirror board. I then stuck on a string of plastic pearls (recycled from a fairy wand) round the glitter board.

I then used some sticky pearls (from the pound shop). I then made a box for the card and decorated that up (no pic of that, sorry).

Anniversary Card for OH

Found some really pretty peel offs and so matted and layered some papermill card stock in chocolate with cream textured card. Used a cream ribbon with gold edging and knotted this in the middle. Coloured the peel offs with brown acetate pens and then stuck on the card and stuck on corners and edging.

I went over the words and corners with clear nail varnish that made the colouring smudge (not planned but worked out well).

Whimsical Card - AVAILABLE £2.00

Decided to go for something different and have a whimsical card.

The image is one I got in a multi-bag I got a couple of years ago and I have used flocked, velvetty backing from Laura Ashley and a matching ribbon and added a box made out of the same ribbon.

Email me at cardsbychelle@yahoo.co.uk if you would like to purchase this card.

House Mouse Mothers Day card

I am LOVING Joanna Sheens House Mouse designs. They are so very cute and some of them are so funny (love the one where the mice are stealing the cookies and framing the cat for it!).

Have used the Mudcake design for this card and used a decoupage sheet. I have then used Papermill card to make an 8 x 8 card and matted and layered. I used a lilac satin ribbon and peel offs for the border.

This has been made to order for a friend for her mum.

Nuetral colours

I made this card for my step-daughers birthday. The card is 8 x 8 and cream, textured card from papermill (pressie from MIL). The images were from a pound shop and are embossed so are stunning. OH helped to pick them too!
I used bronze peel offs for the sentiments.

Wedding Card

A card for my cousins wedding. Image is from a DoCrafts user who kindly shares her creations on Photobucket. I have, again, used glitter to highlight the image.

Wedding Cake

For OHs nieces wedding in December (in Scotland, very, very cold!), I decided to make a wedding cake keepsake.
OH was working away in the week I made this which was a good thing as the house looked like a glitter bomb had gone off! Had lots of bits and pieces hanging around everywhere to dry. Took several days to make but very pleased with the result.

3 Christmas cards made to order

Made 3 Christmas cards to order. The images of the bike and golfer were found on Google (friends who ordered them were very specific) and I used glitter to highlight (also used iridescent eye shadow on the snow of the biker card which I think has come out great). The Forever Friends image was recycled from an old Christmas card.

Girly shaker card

Made for a friend to give a friend.

Valentines Gift Basket

Valentines gift basket, filled with a heart shaped chocolate lolly, strawberry filled chocolates, a little "horny devil" bear, love hearts and heart shaped confetti.

Basket was £1.20 from Hobby Craft and the roll of patterned cellophane was about £2.50 from HC. Used loads of pink tissue paper for padding and then a load of pink curling ribbon.

Shadow Box

Shadow box card for a friend to make her feel better after a rough time. Kit was brought through crafting direct.

Rock Dude card

Rock Dude card for step daughter boyfriend. Coloured digi image with pencils and used striped glitter backing and used the sticky words (the ones you rub off and put glitter on).

Brothers birthday card

A card for my brothers birthday.Image and backing from Its a Mans World (I think) by Anita. Used the beer, game controller, remote and pizza and this completely sums up my bro!!!

Deco Birthday card

A card for my Step Mums 70th
Found the image on an website for artists to share their work. Re-used the ribbon from an old card. Used lots of glitter and sticky diamantes.

FF birthday card

Made a FF decoupage card for OHs birthday. Used peel off letter for the sentiments and BARGAIN gem sticky ribbon from Hobby Craft (99p for 6 A4 strips)

Elegant Deco

Made this card for my dad to give to my step-mum for her 70th.

I used lots of glitter on the image itself and used sticky diamantes on the hat.

Used sticky backed glitter sheet (god-send) and a design backing.

I went over the design on the background by hand with a silver pen and used sticky diamante again. Then used satin ribbon and printed the sentiments from word.

Anniversary Card

A friend of mine wanted an anniversary card for his OH and wanted something really elegant.
I used white and black glitter card and white satin ribbon. I used a string of plastic pearls (recycled from a fairy wand!) and a little black chiffon bow.
Was a fairly easy card to make and I was pretty pleased with the results (as was the buyer and the recipient.
