Baby Boy

An old card but this is one I made for OH niece on the birth of her baby boy.

Wellington and Tim Holtz papers and the image is from MCS. I used glitter and gems on the prams to make it ping and added a little teddy charm to the organza bow.

Round of Golf

Another boss, another birthday!

This boss is really into his Golf and I had the perfect image from Just inked.

The image is coloured using promarkers and I used some grungy papers for the background. A few buttons on the corner and liquid pearls in the opposite corner.

British Mini

This is a card I made for my bosses birthday. I was at a loss as to what to make and then suddenly remembered that I still had some of the Jewel Britannia pack left so out it came and I made him a Best of British card.

For a reasonably quick card, everyone at work thought it was fab!

Vintage Pink

This card was made a colleague.

The image is from La Pashe and coloured with Promarkers. I added glitter to parts of the hat and feathers and liquid pearls around the hat brim for added bling.

Sympathy cards

We recently lost a friend to cancer, quite suddenly. I made two cards, one for his wife and one for his daughter.

Stamps are Kaiser Craft and the sentiments are from personnal impressions.

The swirl was cut on the Cameo and the flowers are from Papermania. I used a hint of red on this one.

Success!

Decided to try another table top sale (last time I didn't even make the table money back!)

So I went along today, not expecting a lot of sales but managed to make £19! Not bad for the rainy day and we only had (max) 30 groups through the door.

Also had a couple of order and requests for me to attend again so, all in all, a good sale!

Like Clockwork

Steampunk card made for my little brothers 30th (well aren't I starting to feel old!)

I cut the clock and clock hands on my Cameo and then used a mixture of red, gold and bronze embossing powder on them. The clock hand were backed onto black card to make them stand a little better.

I cut a clock out fromt he backing paper and used glossy accents and also around the watch frame on the topper. I cut a square from the backing paper for the top left corner and mounted this and topper on black card and used "postage stamp" scissors around the edges.
