Very Nervous

Haven't had much chance to update lately as been working hard (at my paying job, making cards and sorting the spare room ready to be my craft room.

Hope you all enjoyed the Royal Wedding yesterday. Me and his lordship watched it together. Both got a bit choked a few times, it really was a beautiful wedding and how amazing did Kate look?

I have a little project in my head for the royal wedding as a keepsake. More to be revealed when I have thought it through properly!!!

Anywhoo, today I am going to try selling my cards to the general public at a table top sale (eeek). I am taking about 40 cards and hoping I sell some!

Taking a massive range of designs (easels, boxed cards, gate folds etc) for loads of different occasions. Have left a lot of them blank inside and without sentiments so people can decide what they want to use them for. Thought it may give me a better chance at selling.Have even created a little poster!

Will post some pics later of the set up and let you all know how I get on. Hoping to make at least £20.00 so finger and toes crossed everyone x

Saucy Birthday card!

Another Kenny K image, this time chosen by OH for his sons birthday.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and used peel offs on the corners. The card is from Papermill (a gift from MIL).

I have highlighted the tips of the hair with red and used glue on the leather boots and pants to make it shinier. I have also used small diamante gems for the belt.

Ben 10 Card

My mum asked me to make a card for her landladies son who is really into Ben 10 (what little boy isn't?).

I scoured the internet for a colouring page of Ben 10 and then coloured it with Promarkers.

The backing is from my stash and I cut the sentiment at an angle (as I can't cut straight at the moment!)

Kenny K boys card

Not updated for a little while, been too busy working and making cards!

Anyway, have fallen in love with Kenny K images and have created a boys card using one of images from there.

Made it into an easel card and used backing paper from my stash. I used mirror board to mat and layer at angles and the sentiment is free rub on that I got with my promarkers.

More Shopping

Have done a whole heap of shopping the last couple of day!

I did buy things other than crafty bits (dress and some jewellery) but have got LOADS of new stash.

Thanks to the 20% off at Hobbycraft on Thursday, I have brought loads of roses, foam and paper, some glitter card, Forever Friends mens stamps, Papermania mens stamps, more pro-markers, card blanks and ribbon. Today I brought some glitter ribbon and some marvy brush markers in skin tones as well a few gorgeous peel offs and a metal ruler. Also brought some ink refill for the printer so will be getting messy tomorrow!

Having a night out tonight so will be going for a lovely soak in the bath shortly and then a lovely long pamper session.
